Theatre Practitioners

We are expanding our well-recognised Theatres nursing team and have a number of opportunities for qualified Band 5 nurses and ODPs. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, motivated nurses; previous experience in theatre nursing is not required as comprehensive in-post training is provided in-house.

QEHB has 42 operating theatres and procedure rooms that cater for both elective and emergency surgeries, covering all specialties, including transplantation and major trauma. Staff are given the opportunity to internally rotate around specialties to continue their professional development. We are currently offering a range of three-, four- and five-day working opportunities. We also offer a range of shifts, e.g. earlies, lates, nights, weekends, bank holidays, twilight shifts and on-call rotas.

For further information about Theatre Practitioner roles at QEHB, please email melanie.finney@uhb.nhs.uk.
